Boston Hits Birdie Blitz

A great win for our PGA professional at Windmill Leisure

Louis Boston reeled off a stunning seven successive birdies to close his round and add his name to the lengthy list of winners at the Cotswold Hills G&S PGA Medal.

The Windmill PGA Pro was one of four to share top spot five-under-par 67s in near perfect scoring conditions in Cheltenham.

Boston's back nine of 29 helped him match his fellow victors namely Total Triumph OOM leader Ross Langdon, Clevedon assistant Ashley Mansell and Weston Super Mare assistant Dan Toogood, who notched his first win as a professional.

With 11 holes to play, Boston seemed destined to finish in the lower reaches of the leaderboard at two over par but ignited into top gear to finish with his superb blitz, which unsurprisingly won him the Birdie sweeps too.

Congrats to Louis!
