This week follows on quite nicely as I have some very exciting news. I have linked up with Dr Zach Gould, founder of Dr Golf Global, to improve the quality of my performance and coaching by implementing strength and conditioning in my lessons.
The partnership means that I will be completing an advanced certificate which includes: strength and conditioning, warm-ups, posture, physiological demands, force application, movement demands, screening, and injuries in golf.
Who is Zach Gould? Zach had an extremely successful amateur career as a junior and represented Wales for many years as well as representing Europe in the junior Ryder Cup.
From there he has gone on to work with Wales Golf and Cardiff MET University delivering Strength and Conditioning presentations and seminars. Zach works with players, parents, coaches and sports science specialists to develop each and every golfer’s knowledge and understanding of the importance of physical training in golf.
I have personally worked with Zach to improve my own personal understanding and performance as a player and would like to share that with you guys.
Moving forward I will be looking for selected clients who are interesting in taking their game to the next level physically. I will be working directly with Zach using his app which has access to hundreds of specific videos to improve your golf, from improving posture to improving speed.
We are going to work together to develop specific plans for individuals to help you achieve your goals. I will be including and sharing my extra knowledge in all of my lessons but there will be a few limited spaces for those who would like the full package.

I’m really excited about this new opportunity and hope you are all finding some time for some personal development. Even if we can’t get on the golf course or driving range every day is a school day in which we can improve ourselves physically or mentally.
